Hot Tapping

A new valved connection into a pipeline that stays in service. Steel, copper, PVC, HDPE, cast iron and more, from 12mm upwards.

Pipe Freezing

Liquid nitrogen forms an ice plug inside the live line, so a section can be opened up without draining the system.

Line Stopping

A stop inserted through a fitting holds the flow back while you work, then comes out again. Also called line plugging.

Gas Diversions

Diverting a live gas line under pressure, with no interruption to supply. Accredited for live gas work since 1998.

Testing / Purging

Pressure testing, purging and leak detection on gas and process lines, including Washington testing and 24 hour chart recording.

Squash Offs

The bore closed by squeezing the pipe flat, where other ways of stopping the flow are not practical or cost effective.

Bag Off Isolation

An inflatable bag inserted through a fitting holds the product back, where a mechanical stop or the EZ2 cannot be used.

Live Valve Insertion

A permanent valve inserted into a live steel water main from 100mm to 300mm with the EZ2 system. One excavation, no drain down.

Leak Repair

Leaks sealed under pressure with epoxy, tape systems and clamps, plus live weld repairs. From -60°C to 200°C.

Thermowells

Thermowells, thermometer pockets, probes and flow meters installed into live pipelines, so sensors can be fitted or swapped without a shutdown.
